This assignment highlights IKEA’s vision ”to create a better everyday life for the many people.” It features how-to guides designed to inspire individuals to transform and refresh their homes in just a few simple steps, a concept called IKEA Home Furnishing Fundamentals. As the Art Director, I had the opportunity to lead the creation of guides and social media films. Each film directed viewers to ikea.com for easy shopping and deeper content.
The 15 guides, built on insights into people’s current home furnishing needs, helped improve IKEA’s reputation as a helpful brand. The effort led to increased purchase conversions and boosted website traffic worldwide.
