Storytelling that inspires smart interior design
As a global brand, IKEA offers exciting opportunities for those of us working in communications. In this assignment, where I was honoured to serve as the Creative Lead and Art Director, we demonstrated that functional and beautiful homes can be accessible regardless of living situation or location worldwide.
We produced an editorial-style content series that allowed the audience to explore three different homes: a collective in Berlin, a couple with their grandchild in Barcelona, and a young woman in Shanghai. All visuals were created and crafted in IKEA’s studio in Älmhult, Sweden. The campaign had a significant impact in IKEA markets via ikea.com, social media platforms and store displays.
