New signage design boosted sales and delighted customers
As Art Director and Creative Lead, I led the transformation of OKQ8’s store communication to win market share in the food and café segment– shifting from grey minimalism to a vibrant, inviting design. Through bold colors, dynamic typography, and appetizing photography, we created a warmer, more welcoming atmosphere. This expression was also brought into a new design for the dining area at the station.
Tests confirmed clear improvements in perceived quality and customer comfort.

Before: Stylish but a bit cold and uninspiring

We created more appealing food imagery using richer colours and a refined style. The copy was also made sharper and more concise.
Hot dogs are the best-selling item and a key attraction for customers at the station. Here are some of the ways we presented them.


One main challenge was ensuring clear communication across various formats, from pump handles to posters, banners, and digital screens. The graphic design needed to work across both food and car care products to maximise impact.
